The Awakening - We review this remarkable new film. Set in post-World War I England in 1921. It follows a sceptical woman (REBECCA HALL) who travels to a countryside boarding school to investigate rumours of an apparent haunting. Just when she thinks she has debunked the ghost theory, she has a chilling spectral encounter which defies all her rational beliefs.

'Snowtown' - Director Justin Kurzel discusses Snowtown his debut feature which charts the terrible loss of innocence of Jamie Vlassakis, (LUCAS PITTAWAY,) as Jamie comes under the spell of the notorious serial killer John Bunting( DANIEL HENSHALL) in the late 1990s. The film is unrelentingly grim, brutal, and uncompromising, but already it has staked a claim as one of the best Australian films ever made.
