He counts down the top ten best selling albums and singles of the year. He also features the top three most played songs from the R&B and rock charts, plus the top three most downloaded country tracks.
It has been a year dominated by one British artist: Adele, who has reigned supreme with her album '21' and number one singles 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Someone Like You'. Sales of '21' have topped 5 million in the US. On the singles side, it has been a good year for three other female artists. Katy Perry and Rihanna have both had two US number one singles in 2011. Lady GaGa has had a number one single and album.
