At 1, Would you avoid seeing a doctor if you knew he or she were religious?

Dr Richard Scott runs an "expressly christian" medical practise in Kent. He's been given a warning by a General Medical Council after he spoke to "psychologically disturbed" patient about his faith.

Dr Scott says he was the victim of anti-Christian prejudice but would you avoid a doctor if you knew they had religious views?

Its a particular problem when its an Asian patient and an Asian doctor? He may not talk to you about Sikhism, Hinduism or Islam but do you worry that he may judge you? Have you ever requested a non-Asian doctor? Or do you think that doctors should be allowed to discuss matters of faith, alongside practicing medicine?

Later, Kishwar Desai chats to Nihal about her new novel - Origins of Love. The book explores couples opting for surrogacy. If you couldn't conceive, would you consider surrogacy?
