Naresh Puri sits in for Nihal and asks 'Does racist abuse on reality TV shows reflect British society?'
There's been another case of an Asian being abused in the Big Brother house and its attracted over a thousand complaints to Ofcom.
Deana Uppal is the current Miss India UK and a contestant in this year's Big Brother. Yesterday Labour MP Keith Vaz brought up her bullying in the house and mentioned other incidents "which have been perceived as racist". So, is there any point in complaining about racial incidents? Should Asians just get used to it? Is this show just a mirror on British society? Or Are Asians quick to play the race card?
Call Naresh and tell him what you think.
Later, Naresh will be discussing "Right to Choose" which is a new campaign launched by the Forced Marriage Unit. The campaign is designed to raise awareness on forced marriages and the tell-tale signs of it happening.
