The Belfast Trust has told the Nolan show that an MRI scanner planned for the Royal's Children's hospital in Belfast will not be in place until 2015. That's despite 2 million pounds being raised to buy a scanner six months ago following a three-year charity appeal. How much money is a child's life worth? Forty thousand pounds according to the Western Trust. Nine-year-old Raychel Ferguson died in Altnagelvin hospital after she was given a lethal dose of intravenous fluid. She'd been admitted to have her appendix removed in 2001. Her death was investigated as part of the Hyponatraemia Inquiry. Rachel鈥檚 mum asks - "Who gives them the right to say my daughter's life was only worth 拢40K?"
