Johnnie revives the spirit of freeform American radio heard in the late '60s and the 1970s and plays a selection of the records heard on FM rock stations.
Tonight's show features music by America, Heart, Bonnie Raitt and David Ackles - who appeared with Elton John when Elton made his US breakthrough with influential concerts at the Troubadour Club in West Hollywood in August 1970. 'I could not believe that I was on the same stage with someone like David Ackles - one of my heroes.'.
