Live coverage from Natal as the Samurai Blue of Japan face Greece, who defied the odds to win Euro 2004. With Gary Lineker and commentary by Jonathan Pearce and Martin Keown.

Gary Lineker presents live coverage of the day's second game in Group C, which sees Japan take on Greece in Natal.

The Japanese are the reigning Asian champions and a rising force in international football - they are hoping to reach the last 16 for the third time in four World Cups. They took part in last year's Confederations Cup, when they were involved in the game of the tournament - a thrilling 4-3 defeat to Italy. Despite some defensive weaknesses, their squad is packed with skilful, creative midfielders such as AC Milan's Keisuke Honda and Manchester United's Shinji Kagawa.

Greece caused one of the biggest surprises at a major tournament when they won the European Championship a decade ago as huge outsiders. Veterans Georgios Karagounis and Konstantinos Katsouranis are the only survivors from that squad and will hope to inspire the Greeks to upset the odds again this summer as they try to progress from the group stage for the first time in their history.
