Allan Campbell is at Struan and recalls the enterprising former local businessman who founded and ran the Skye Clarion news sheet for 6 years in the 1950s with John Angus MacCusbic. Murdo Beaton and Allan visit the new Struan Cemetery and Murdo describes how the site was once used for open-air religious services and later for cattle sales. At Struan's old cemetery at Balgown John Angus MacCusbic describes some of its ancient history and its various names over the centuries. He also tells how seating and a communion table were formed from turf to accommodate the huge numbers attending services in the early 19th century, when the existing church was too small to accommodate them.
