In the last programme in the series Allan Campbell is at Totarder, south of Struan, John Angus MacCusbic has a particular interest in local history and he describes the evidence of some of the early settlements in the area, and ruins of deserted villages which were occupied in the 19th century. He tells how the former tack of Totarder was sold by MacLeod and broken into crofts after World War 1 when it was occupied by John Angus's grandfather and others from Harris. John Angus describes the working of the crofts and the associated 3,000 acres of grazings. From Totarder Allan rejoins Murdo Beaton at Amar on the old road which originally wound round the head of Loch Beag, and Murdo describes how a ferry once operated between Struan Beag and Coillore. Moving on to Gesto Farm Allan hears some history from Murdo and John Angus and Murdo also tells how a girl was kidnapped fom the shore here in the 'slavery' episode of the 18th century.
