Jenni Murray talks to Diane Von Furstenberg about being an independent woman. Plus best-selling author Marian Keyes on her new book.

Fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg is still producing iconic wrap dresses forty years after she came up with the idea. She talks to Jenni about creating her multi-million pound empire, life lessons from her mother, who was a holocaust survivor, and becoming the independent person she wanted to be.

Historical Sexual Abuse

In the next part of series into historic sexual abuse and assault we look at the allegations against Jimmy Savile and the culture of sexual abuse which has seen several other celebrities imprisoned in recent years.  When revelations of Savile’s behaviour surfaced in 2012, it not only launched Operation Yewtree, but also a national debate about the way in which celebrities had been able to abuse children and young people whilst in the full glare of the media.   Dan Davies, author of In Plain Sight: The Life and Lies of Jimmy Savile, joins Jenni, along with Savile abuse survivor Dee.
