Liz chats to Martyn Ware and Glenn Gregory of Heaven 17, who are set to release their first new album of original material for almost 10 years.
They formed in 1980 when Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh left The Human League. They enjoyed critical success with the debut album Penthouse and Pavement, but the 1983 single Temptation transformed their career. The subsequent album The Luxury Gap and the following singles all charted well. In 1984 they released the 3rd album How Men Are which charted well but from here on they weren't able to repeat their earlier success.
More recently they've played their first 2 albums in full live.
