Mairi MacRitchie enlists the help of three skilled cooks and bakers to prepare a delicious festive feast in a beautiful country house on Skye. Christmas day more than any other is a time of real indulgence.

With this in mind, the cooks will not only be preparing a five-course meal, they'll also be baking festive cakes, pies and bread - a marzipan-filled stollen for breakfast, mince pies for elevenses and of course, a rich and boozy Christmas cake to round off the meal. The cooks will be sharing their ideas for edible gifts and decorations as well as recipes for cocktails and canap茅s.

They'll show that with plenty planning and preparation, a stress-free Christmas can be achieved - even in the kitchen.
