4 Extra Debut. In 1910, Dr Crippen was hanged for the murder of his wife. But what really happened on the night she died? Stars Charles Kay.

TRUE CRIME: One of the most infamous killers in British history, Dr Hawley Crippen was hanged for the gruesome murder of his wife Cora in 1910. He allegedly poisoned and dismembered her, hiding her remains under the basement floor. Crippen then fled to North America with his lover - and was the first person to be caught using the wireless telegraph.

But what really happened on the night she died? A dramatisation of Emlyn William's book Dr Crippen's Diary - interspersing facts with an imagining of his feelings as events unfold in the lead up to his final entry before he was hung.

Starring Charles Kay as Dr Crippen, Ivor Roberts as Inspector Dew and Debora Weston as Cora Crippen.
