Tonight Marc welcomes back Go-Betweens founder Robert Forster

It's been seven years since Robert's last Marc Riley session and also seven years since his last solo album The Evangelist. Since then he's been a busy man. He's produced records, for Brisbane bands the John Steel Singers and Halfway, he's been a music critic, for Australian periodical The Monthly - a stint which resulted in the book The Ten Rules Of Rock And Roll and a musical curator, compiling G Stands For Go-Betweens. Volume 1 - the first of three box-set compilations charting the career of his legendary band.

Now finally he's releasing a new album of his own , Songs To Play, recorded in an analogue studio on a mountain top half an hour from his Brisbane home with various young musician including members of the a fore mentioned John Steel Singers. As far as we can tell his 2015 UK tour consists of one date in London and this session, so make the most of it!
