Back in session tonight Manchester 's Queen of Prog Jane Weaver

Originally from Liverpool, Jane has been a fixture in the Manchester musical scene for a number of years now, recording with the likes of Doves and husband Andy Votel and even running her own record label Bird records. However since her last visit to the Riley studio she's been busy even for her. She's toured, played multiple festivals, brought out an expanded version of her world conquering Silver Globe album, and most impressively of all appeared on Marc Riley's seminal TV programme All Shook Up. She's about to go another tour but before she does she's back to delight us with another session.

We still don't know if she's bought a cape.
