Gabby Logan presents live coverage of the 2015 Great North CityGames from the quayside in NewcastleGateshead.

Firmly established as part of the Great North Run weekend, the Great North CityGames takes place on a specially built 200m running track on the bank of the River Tyne. In addition to a programme of flat and hurdles races, there are pole vault and long jump competitions, and mile and two-mile races around the quayside.

This year will see a host of athletes taking part who competed and won medals at the recent World Championships in Beijing. Gold medallists Greg Rutherford, Allyson Felix and Asbel Kiprop all compete, while Britain's Jo Pavey, who didn't participate at the World Championships, will take part in the two-mile race. In a growing IPC rivalry, Jonnie Peacock will resume his personal battle with American Richard Browne, who beat him in the Anniversary Games in July.

In addition to in-depth analysis and comment, there is a look ahead to Sunday's Great North Run featuring Mo Farah.

In what is one of the last track athletics events of the season, Gabby Logan is joined for expert analysis by Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson, with Phil Jones trackside. Commentary comes from Steve Cram, Katharine Merry, and Paula Radcliffe.
