Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. Continuing our alphabetical look at the list, we hear 'Tired Of Being Alone' by Al Green and a song composed by songwriting team Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry - 'River Deep Mountain High' recorded by Ike & Tina Turner. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1942 of Gary Puckett with his hit 'Woman Woman' recorded with The Union Gap. Paul pays tribute to Frankie Ford, who has recently died, by playing his classic New Orleans disc -'Sea Cruise'. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'My Man' by Barbra Streisand and a different song with the same title by Tammy Wynette.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays a song from a UK artist's biggest selling album in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by The Animals and Bush. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication 'Billboard'. This week's examples are by The Undisputed Truth and Duran Duran.

Our R&B number ones are from 1978 and now by Funkadelic and Janet Jackson featuring J. Cole. We hear Country number ones from 1981 and this week by Eddie Rabbitt and Luke Bryan. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by Bruce Springsteen and Elle King. Number one in the album sales chart is 'Cass County' by Don Henley and the best-selling digital song of the week is 'The Hills' by The Weeknd.
