Released this Friday, the dark, twisted events of Kill Your Friends take place against a backdrop of Britpop in the 90s. Nicholas Hoult stars as a menacing A&R man, slashing and burning his way through the music business, a world where 'no one knows anything' and where careers are made and broken by chance and the fickle tastes of the general public - "Yeah, those animals". John Niven adapted his own 2008 novel for this sharp, funny, allegory of the music industry.
