Lauren is joined by Guy Garvey for live music and conversation. He plays tracks from new album, Courting the Squall - his debut solo effort comes after nearly 25 years with elbow.

Having fronted elbow for more than two decades, Guy Garvey released his debut solo album, Courting the Squall, on the 30th of October. To help him along the way, he recruited a band of his 'favourite musicians outside elbow'. The album features Pete Jobson, long time friend and bass player from I Am Kloot, as lead guitarist and Nathan Sudders from The Whip on bass. Garvey's old V2 labelmate Ben Christophers played keyboards and drums came from Alex Reeves. elbow's brass section added to some of the tracks and Rachael Gladwin played the harp and kora.
