Children's Book
Lord Sugar sets the candidates a surprising task - write and design a children's book, and record an accompanying CD, before selling it to London's bookshops.
At the London Library in St James's Square, Lord Sugar sets the candidates a surprising task - write and design a children's book, and record an accompanying CD, before selling it to London's bookshops.
For one candidate it's a dream task, but taking on the role of project manager isn't the fairy tale they had imagined. Desperate to prove their literary prowess, one team flounders and is in danger of losing the plot over deadlines, whilst on the other team, a simple rhyming story causes drama when the team hits the recording studio and disagree on how to perform it.
Next morning, finished books in hand, it's time to flog their masterpieces. But a major stumble in front of industry experts unsettles one team, while the other resorts to a dramatic drop in prices just to shift their stock. Candidate clashes and pitiful pitches see both teams struggle for sales.
In the boardroom, the plot thickens. Sales are totted up and revealed, but only one team's story has a happy ending. For the losing candidates it's a terrifying boardroom, and for someone it's the last chapter in their Apprentice story.
