Katie Puckrik sits in with Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast, and chats to her about how California has influenced the band's sound.

Best Coast formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009, and have released three studio albums to date. Their third, 'California Nights', came out earlier this year.

Katie asks Bethany about much the redwood forests and surf beaches of "The Golden State" have shaped her and guitarist Bobb Bruno's sound, and spins tunes from some of their favourite bands including The Beach Boys and Real Estate.
