Katie Puckrik sits in for Mary Anne Hobbs with her new favourite musician, sensational Texan songwriter Josh T. Pearson, formerly of Lift To Experience.

Pearson has been making music since 1996 but has released just two albums: , 'The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads' (2001) with Lift To Experience, and 'Last Of The Country Gentleman' (2011), his first solo effort.

This year he has returned to the stage, playing shows around the world, including a Lee Hazlewood tribute night at the Barbican in London. During this tour Katie Puckrik came across him and his magical music for the first time ... and fell in love.
