Tha Tony Kearney na phearsa cho aithnichte sa th'ann an saoghal na G脿idhlig. Bho bha e sa sgoil, tha e air a bhith an s脿s ann a bhith 'g aithris phr貌graman is ag actadh, chan ann a-mh脿in sa Gh脿idhlig ach anns t-sreath dr脿ma River City, measg t貌rr eile. Ach 's d貌cha nach eil a' mh貌r chuid e貌lach air na t脿lantan cruthachail a tha ruith tro'n teaghlach aige, gu h-脿raid tro sheanmhair is

A bharrachd air a sin, tha fuasgladh air an obair smaoineachail a rinn an "Antaidh" Anna NicIain agus a br脿thair-sa Calum, ann a bhith cruinneachadh sgeulachdan is 貌rain na sg矛re. Cluinnidh sinn mu'n st貌ras de dh'貌rain luaidh a bh'aig T猫arag Aonghais Chaluim, bean Pheter, agus chi sinn mar a tha Nanny, m脿thair Tony, a' cumail a d矛leab be貌.

Bha Catriona "Dea" Pheter R貌raidh bliadhnaichean m貌ra a' fuireachd ann an Afraga a Deas. Gheibh sinn a-mach mu'n bheatha bh'aice thall an sin, agus a saoghal bho thill 矛 dh'Alba. Uile gu l猫ir, sgeulachd bhe貌thail inntinneach a tha mar fhianais air na comasan aig aon teaghlach iongantach.

Tony Kearney is one of the best-known performers in Scotland. Since boyhood, he has presented and acted in numerous TV and theatre productions, in Gaelic and in many other roles, most notably in 大象传媒 Scotland's hit soap River City. But perhaps less is known of the creative talents that extend through Tony's family, through his maternal grandparents from the Isle of Barra.

This programme meets the 'children of Peter Rory' - Tony's mother and her siblings, and learns of their upbringing in a home that revolved around the songs and music of the Hebridean tradition. The programme also includes compelling archive of the song and story-collecting carried out by members of the family in Barra in the mid-20th century and offers a colourful glimpse of their continued involvement with broadcasting, theatre and music.
