Paul Gambaccini presents tracks from this week's US charts and hits from the last six decades.

Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. We hear 'Long Tall Sally' by Little Richard and 'My Babe' by Little Walter. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1944 of Gladys Knight by playing her American top ten hit 'If I Were Your Woman'. Paul pays tribute to guitarist Lonnie Mack, who has recently died, by featuring his version of Chuck Berry's 'Memphis'. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights the Terrific Two 'Love Is Alive' by Gary Wright and a different song with the same title that was a Country Number One by The Judds.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays a song from a UK artist's biggest-selling album in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by Judas Priest and Annie Lennox. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication 'Billboard'. This week's examples are by R. Dean Taylor and Billy Ocean.

Our R&B number ones are from 1956 and now by Fats Domino and Johnny Gill featuring New Edition. We hear Country number ones from 1952 and this week by Hank Thompson and Florida Georgia Line. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by Third Eye Blind and James Bay. 'Views' by Drake is the number one album for a second week and the best-selling song of the week is 'Can't Stop The Feeling!' by Justin Timberlake.
