Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. We hear 'Whole Lot Of Shakin' Going On' by Jerry Lee Lewis and 'Tears On My Pillow' by Little Anthony & The Imperials. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1944 of Marcie Blane by playing her American top three hit 'Bobby's Girl'. Paul pays tribute to Billy Paul, who has recently died, by featuring his US number one 'Me And Mrs. Jones'. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'For You' sung by Rick Nelson and a different song with the same title by Bruce Springsteen.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays a song from a UK artist's biggest-selling album in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by Soft Cell and Morrissey. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication 'Billboard'. This week's examples are by Kenny Rogers and John Cougar.

Our R&B number ones are from 1975 and now by Smokey Robinson and Johnny Gill featuring New Edition. We hear Country number ones from 1975 and this week by Jessi Colter and Florida Georgia Line. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Prince. Drake has the number one album 'Views' and also the best-selling song of the week 'One Dance'.
