Bring Me the Horizon: Metal from the Steel City
Daniel P Carter tells the story of how Bring Me the Horizon defied critics to become one of Britain's biggest metal exports.
Bring Me The Horizon's rise to success has been fairly epic. Formed in Sheffield as teenagers over a mutual admiration for metalcore, they've defied critics to become one of the biggest British metal exports. Since the release of their debut album Count Your Blessings in 2006 the band have toured the world, consistently hitting bigger venues and gathering multiple accolades along the way.
Daniel P Carter explores how, having sold out massive arena shows and reaching main stage status at festivals, Bring Me The Horizon are paving the way for a new wave of festival headliners and catapulting metal music into the mainstream.
