Iain Pears
The writer Iain Pears has always experimented with form, from his first novel ‘An Instance of the Fingerpost’, with a competing cast of unreliable narrators, to his latest ‘Arcadia’ (Faber). Originally conceived as an App first, the book features three overlapping worlds. Iain explains how the book couldn’t have been written without new technology, a new writing programme allowed him to jump through the worlds as he wrote them.
