Music 'til Midnight - Moira Stuart returns to Sunday nights on Radio 2 with a new series showcasing the best in easy listening sounds and timeless standards performed by the greatest artists of the past 60 years. Including singers Paul Anka, Frank Sinatra, Dinah Washington, Karen Carpenter and Norah Jones. This week's featured album is The Kenny Rankin Album. Released in 1976, this found Kenny Rankin, who up until this point in his career had concentrated exclusively on recording his own compositions, taking a new route and exploring The Great American Songbook in the company of arranger Don Costa. The songs on the album included Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van Heusen's Here's That Rainy Day, Billy Preston's You Are So Beautiful and Hank Williams' House Of Gold.
