Spartathlon and Great Job Wednesday

Chris learns about the history of the Spartathlon, a 153 mile race from Athens to Sparta with Vassos Alexander and meets milliner Sean Barrett on Great Job Wednesday.

Chris has a history lesson with Vassos ahead of his trip to Greece for the 153 mile Spartathlon race, which begins in Athens and finishes up in Sparta. On Great Job Wednesday Chris meets Sean Barrett, a milliner who has created hats for the likes of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Vassos is joined in the Sports Locker by two-time Olympic rower Helen Glover and for today's Top Tenuous we ask for your claims to the fame of Skipton in North Yorkshire, after it is named the UK's happiest town to live in. Art Historian Dr Jim Harris has the mid-week Pause For Thought.
