Live from Ulster Hall, Belfast, the Ulster Orchestra, conducted by Olari Elts, with music by Mendelssohn and Liszt. Presented by John Toal.

Afternoon Concert continues its week of live performances from the 大象传媒 performing groups. Today live from the Ulster Hall, Belfast, the Ulster Orchestra, conducted by Olari Elts, with Mendelssohn's Overture to Camacho's Wedding, followed by two pieces by Liszt. First, his tone poem Totentanz, with pianist Lauma Skride as soloist, and then The Black Gondola, in a version orchestrated by John Adams. The concert ends again with Mendelssohn and his Incidental Music to A Midsummer Night's Dream.
