Before becoming an AM, Hayley worked part time at a leisure centre and now, while she's glad to have a well paid job, she has never had this amount of responsibility before. However, she's given hope by the First Minister. Keen to make the most of Hayley's relative youth and everyman status, the First Minister gives her a cabinet post: Minister for Science, Innovation, Skills and Equalities.
The Accidental Assembly Member follows Hayley as she gets to grips with the Welsh Government, despite having no idea about any of it.
