Armonico Consort, Timothy West, John Wilson, Sam Sweeney

Sean Rafferty is joined in the studio by Armonico Consort, actor Timothy West, conductor John Wilson and folk musicians Sam Sweeney, Rob Harbron and Jack Rutter.

In Tune commemorates the Armistice in its centenary week with live performances from the Armonico Consort and readings of texts from the Great War by actor Timothy West. Fiddle player Sam Sweeney performs live with Rob Harbron and Jack Rutter, and tells the story of his 'unfinished fiddle', the parts of which were made by one Richard Howard, who never assembled it as he was called to fight in the First World War. Plus conductor John Wilson speaks to Sean Rafferty about the John Wilson Orchestra 'At the Movies' tour and their new album.
