Dancer, choreographer, and Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli returns to Radio 2 with a second series celebrating his greatest passion - opera. Top Cs, broken hearts, murdered mothers, sparkling cadenzas and record-breaking curtain calls - that's what we have in store as Bruno brings the red and gold of the world's finest opera houses to your front room via Radio 2.

In tonight's show Bruno unmasks the bad guys and girls of opera - the villains. His rogues' gallery includes the two-timing Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto (Verdi); the immoral Chief of Police - Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini); the scheming Iago from Otello (Verdi); the bigamist Lt Pinkerton from Madam Butterfly (Puccini) the conman Dulcamara from L'Elisir d'Amore (Donizetti) and the queen of cocktails Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti). Bruno illustrates his villains with recordings by Samuel Ramey, Marilyn Horne, Spiro Malas, Carlo Bergonzi and Juan Pons.
