Tom presents his own unique blend of music in his own inimitable style, he's also joined by 'G-Folk' artist Hak Baker, plus there's a guest mix from Bristol DJ and producer Hodge.

Tom presents his own unique blend of music in his own inimitable style. Would you expect anything less? This week he鈥檚 joined by London folk artist Hak Baker. But this isn鈥檛 any ol鈥� Folk musician, this guy is spearheading the 鈥淕-Folk鈥� movement, as the websites lazily hail him. Honest tales of eating chicken and chips and trying to make a living in the tough city that is London are central to his stories. He鈥檚 reinventing Folk and positioning in a place it needs to be; modern, urban tales told from the heart. There鈥檚 also a guest mix from Bristol DJ and producer Jake Martin AKA Hodge. After hearing the brooding Exogenesis EP we had to get him on to bring the cold this Winter. He鈥檚 remixed the likes of Moderat and Leftfield and has collaborated with Randomer and Sweden鈥檚 Peder Mannerfelt - producer of Fever Ray - so this gives you an idea of the direction Hodge is continuing to head. Expect dark bass and pulsing rhythms, probably best listened to with the lights on.
