Tom sits in for Gilles Peterson bringing the wealth of his record collection with him. Today he's joined by Pete Buckenham from On The Corner Records. Named after Miles Davis鈥� last studio album of the 鈥�70s, On The Corner Records is a truly global affair. Finding artists from every continent who are refreshing and updating traditional sounds is their speciality, and a breakthrough arrived last year in the shape of DJ Khalab鈥檚 鈥楤lack Noise 2084鈥�. You ask any independent record shop what their favourite release was of last year, this one will be right up there. Pete will be spinning some favourites and label cohorts, and chatting to Tom all about the upcoming warehouse parties they have planned.
