Ice Baths are live in session, and French duo Souleance share their Guest Mix

Tom presents his own unique blend of music with genuine passion and knowledge, unlike anything anywhere else in radio. Probably for good reason to be honest, but not this week! This week Tom is joined by London quartet Ice Baths. Following the release of their self-titled debut last year, the idiosyncratic and sometimes out of tune noise makers can switch from the avant-garde to pure pop punk perfection. They will be on the show live, so expect to get your wonky-boogie on.

Plus there's a Guest Mix from French duo Souleance. Producer Fulgeance and DJ Soulist of Parisian club night What The Funk know a good sample when they hear one. From rugged breaks to the music’s most incredible rhythms, the "Low Club" groove is their staple and this promises to be one eclectic and fast paced mix. Expect Disco, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, and Latin, sometimes all at the same time. Their latest release was ‘Tribute To Galt MacDermot’, upon hearing that smoky jazz and funk maestro had passed away. A character so essential to Hip-Hop that his ideas created some of the most innovative tunes of the genre some 30 years later.
