James Runcie and David Olusoga

James Runcie, the author of The Grantchester Mysteries joins Kate and Jason.

The author of the Grantchester Mysteries, James Runcie joins Kate and Jason to tell them about the latest book in the series that is published on the 21st of March. This time James has written a prequel which follows the life, loves and losses of the main character, Canon Sidney Chambers in post-war London. 'The Road to Grantchester' also explores what motivated Sidney to become a priest and why he feels the need to involve himself in criminal investigation. The books were inspired by James’s father, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie.

Historian David Olusoga is back with a new series of 'A House Through Time' as he explores the history of a home in Ravensworth Terrace in Newcastle. David traces its residents’ stories over 200 years and reveals real-life drama from burglary to bigamy. The current owners of the house, Damian and Suzi, know little of their home’s history, but with its grand fireplaces and lofty proportions, the house offers a tantalising glimpse into the past.
