Kids Club Kampala has been bringing hope and love to vulnerable children in the slums of Kampala, Uganda for the last 10 years. The charity focuses on keeping children safe, meeting basic needs, providing access to education, and transforming communities. As highlighted in this appeal, it rescues children who have been abandoned, provides them with emergency help and a safe place to live, whilst searching for and reuniting children with their families. 

In our appeal, you’ll hear about Grace who when she was 8 years old was trafficked to Kampala to work as a maid. After running away, she was rescued by Kids Club Kampala and given a safe place to stay at our transitional home.

Our social workers travel long distances to remote villages searching for the children’s families. We have helped many children like Grace to come home.

To prevent poverty breaking families apart, Kids Club Kampala also provides skills training, adult education and school sponsorship.
