Tom is joined by Paul Woolford AKA Special Request, which is the Leeds-based producer鈥檚 darker, hardcore and breaks-inspired alias. Known for his tracks such as Soundboy Killer, Lockjaw, and his VIP version of Tessela鈥檚 Hackney Parrot, Special Request has carved out a driving and infectious sound that has stayed true to the origins of British underground music whilst paving the way for many new artists at the same time. Woolford鈥檚 latest release was Vortex, out at the end of April on London clubbing institution Fabric鈥檚 record label Houndstooth.
