Revered Panamanian-American drummer Billy Cobham shares a collection of tracks that have inspired him and shaped the way he plays. Cobham’s illustrious career includes stints with Mahavishnu Orchestra and Miles Davis, who featured him on the jazz fusion classic Bitches Brew.
Also in the program, music from Mezcla and Graham Costello’s Strata, two of Scotland’s most exciting young bands, recorded live at the Glasgow Jazz Festival. And presenter Jumoke Fashola plays a selection of classic tracks and the best new releases.
