Charismatic Czech conductor Jakub Hr暖拧a leads the Philharmonia Chorus and Orchestra, soprano Camilla Tilling and mezzo Jennifer Johnston in Mahler's epic symphony, which begins with a monumental funeral march and ends in an overwhelming affirmation of resurrection.

Recorded at the Royal Festival Hall in February and presented by Ian Skelly.
