Episode 2
Customers test and score weighted blankets for children, a car-cleaning solution and a vegan baking tool.
Lucy Alexander is joined by three inventors to watch footage of customers as they unbox, test, review and score their precious products.
With two young girls, Louise found much of her days were spent discussing sleep deprivation with other parents. This inspired her to find a non-medical solution for her restless two, leading her to look into the potential calming effects of weighted blankets. Unable to find any suitable products for children, Louise decided to come up with her own weighted blankets with a variety of weights to suit children of different ages.
Car enthusiast James was less than thrilled by the price tag that came with the luxury car cleaning products he needed to keep his car spotless, so he came up with a clay bar kit that cleans cars to perfection but is affordable to all.
The idea for Joe and his brother Patrick鈥檚 invention came from their joint love of food and cooking. Noticing that baking from scratch left them with lots of leftover ingredients that went out of date, and that cake mixes often contain palm oil and powdered egg, they decided to come up with a microwaveable mug cake that is suitable for vegans and can be baked in just 60 seconds.
Once all three inventors have watched the customer responses and given their own thoughts on the feedback, Lucy reveals who has won the coveted The Customer Is Always Right winner鈥檚 trophy.
