Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.
For KING & COUNTRY are two brothers, Luke and Joel Smallbone, originally from Australia but now based in Nashville, who have won Grammy Awards and a huge US fan base for their uplifting and inspirational pop. Heavily influenced by their Christian faith, they've collaborated with Dolly Parton, and toured the world, selling out the Sydney Opera House. Their most popular songs, including 'God Only Knows', 'Burn The Ships' and 'Joy' have millions of views on Youtube and they've specially recorded two tracks for us here at Good Morning Sunday, at home in lockdown. They tell Kate about how current global crisis has inspired them to create new music with gospel star Kirk Franklin.
Plus, Penny Wincer knows about the deep lows and sometimes surprising highs of caring for your loved ones, having looked after her mother who battled mental illness, and bringing up her son with autism. As National Carer's Week draws to a close, Penny shares her own experience and those of others, captured in her book 'Tender: The Imperfect Art of Caring'.
