大象传媒 Young Chorister of the Year launch

Kate and Jason launch the 大象传媒 Young Chorister of the Year competition, a collaboration between 大象传媒 One's Songs of Praise and 大象传媒 Radio 2.

Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.

This week is the launch the 大象传媒 Young Chorister of the Year competition, a new collaboration between 大象传媒 One's Songs of Praise and 大象传媒 Radio 2 for 2020. We're looking for the best young singers in the country, between the ages of 10-16, to compete for this coveted title. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, now鈥檚 the time to get your entries in! Perhaps you鈥檙e a member of a church or cathedral choir, a school choir, a show choir or a gospel choir? If you lead worship in your church or you just love singing great sacred music, this could be your chance.

We know that young people make an immense contribution to choirs and music groups across the UK and this is our way of celebrating that. For all the information about how to enter go to www.bbc.co.uk/Radio2, The closing date is 20th July.
