Activist, actress and model Lily Cole joins the Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad. She has reasons for optimism in our changing world, explored in her book 'Who Cares Wins'. In the face of climate change, divisive politics and a global pandemic, Lily wants us to feel hopeful that we can make a difference. She tells Kate and Jason about the inspirational people she met for the book and her own journey as a campaigner, philanthropist and activist.

Plus as Radio 2 celebrates friendship, we meet two unlikely sets of friends. Val is 81 and Aimee, 27. Despite an age gap of over 50 years they're firm friends and chat for hours on the phone after being introduced by the Cares Family charity.

Ivan Humble used to be a member of the English Defence League. He joins his friend Imam Irfan Chishtie to tell Kate and Jason about how they met and became close, in spite of their initial differences.
