Dublin journalist Patrick Freyne chats to John about his entertaining book 鈥淥k Let鈥檚 Do Your Stupid Idea?鈥, how he鈥檚 catalogued his own flaws and pays tribute to his friends and family. John hears about how Children In Need has helped the Compass Advocacy Network in Ballymoney and how they created CAN TV during lockdown to help young people with learning difficulties. We catch up with travel blogger Johnny Ward in Bangkok. He鈥檚 recently completed a cycle from the northern tip of Thailand to the southern and is about to run 188 km to raise money for local children in the slums. Sharon Doran鈥檚 benefited from a free scheme called Work It Out and explains to John how it helped her in life and employment following furlough and redundancy and how she used the opportunity to gain the confidence to go it alone. Daisie Conway, an 18 year old soprano and law student, introduces her new single 鈥淭ell Me, I鈥檓 Not Dreaming鈥 and resident chef Paula McIntyre cooks Chicken Parmigiana from her kitchen in Portstewart.
