Grant Stott talks to Altered Images singer and Gregory’s Girl actress Clare Grogan and Taggart actor Colin McCredie about starring in the premiere of Pitlochry Festival Theatre's The Magic of Christmas.
Grant hosts a special hour dedicated to the Scottish BAFTAs and he has a live interivew with Glenda Jackson, who won for her portrayal of Maud in the drama, Elizabeth Is Missing. We will also be hearing from actor Ncuti Gatwa and writers Paul Laverty and Neil Forsyth.
Paul English will also be Getting to Know Grant Stott in the first ever live edition of our weekly 3 minute challenge in which Paul gets to know a different Scottish celebrity every week.
Mica Paris, one of Britain's most respected soul singers joins Grant live on the show to talk about her new album ‘Gospel’, her first album in more than a decade, her love of gospel music which originated when she sang in her south London church in Lewisham every weekend with her grandparents, and the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Four documentary ‘Gospel According to Mica: The Story of Gospel Music in Six Songs’.
We have an update from Kaite Bourgeois, who was on the Afternoon Show back in September for our Make a Difference campaign talking about raising money for Brain Tumour Research whilst awaiting her own brain tumour surgery.
Edinburgh-based freelance arts journalist & theatre critic Thom Dibdin and his photographer brother Peter talk about their combined art project which is an artistic look at Edinburgh during the month of August when the festival was cancelled. They went to the places they had been before to compare what they were like when the venues were empty. They tell Grant about their project and about what they are doing with it next.
