"What fruit could you polish your shoes with?"

Janet surprises Sean by correctly answering which fruit could you polish your shoes with.

"Which fruit," Sean asks, "could you polish your shoes with?"

Janet answers, correctly.

"What?" says Sean. "That's right, Janet. I don't know where to go now. She got it right. Of course she passed the 11 plus. Probably an 11 plus question."

Rusty in Creggan says cherry blossom, which is not right.

And Iris in Antrim suggests banana skins, which the right answer.

"I tried it the other morning, you know," Sean says. "I got my house shoes. My house shoes are leather. And I rubbed with the banana skin, then I buffed with a clean dry cloth. It didn't really work."
