And Johnnie鈥檚 joined by Marcella Detroit, the co-writer of two major Eric Clapton hits in the 1970s.

She鈥檚 best known as the vocalist on Stay by Shakespear鈥檚 Sister, one of the most distinctive no.1 hits of the Nineties, but Marcy was already a music business veteran by then, having played and toured with Bob Seger, Leon Russell and Clapton. Together with Eric, she co-wrote Lay Down Sally and Wonderful Tonight, so she鈥檒l be chatting about her memories of those times and the music that influenced her too.

A feminist anthem becomes the latest record to find a place in Johnnie鈥檚 Jukebox, thanks to Malcolm Brown in Hampshire.

Tony Boyton selects a One Of A Kind song, and it鈥檚 by royal approval!

We celebrate more star name birthdays with our look at This Week In Music.
