Apphia Campbell tells Janice about bringing her critically acclaimed shows WOKE and BLACK IS THE COLOUR OF MY VOICE back to the Edinburgh Fringe and performs her version of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good live on stage.

Janice talks to members of F-Bomb about their Scottish theatre company founded by women for women, and we hear a live performance from their debut Fringe show Afterparty.

Former frontman of indie Dundee group The View Kyle Falconer performs songs from his second solo album NO LOVE SONGS FOR LAURA, and he talks about how his life has changed in the past few years, and the effect this has had on his songwriting.

Absolutely and Scot Squad Scottish comedy superstar, comedy writer and performer Jack Docherty talks about his solo play Nothing But, a darkly comic Fringe show in which he plays a version of himself dealing with love, loss, regret, sex and reconnecting with family.

Jack and Kyle also talk about the surprising overlaps between the themes they write about and about performing solo without a group around them.
